Pathways
I think i’ll miss this lonely town, The leaves all leave the trees as one.
Green grows orange on them southern hills.
Their age more than the stars marooned.
Let’s all agree to keep our shoulders high.
It’s a crazy world once you step outside.
And I believe i’ve learned some things. Upon this pathway that I tread.
Hand me something to cover up my heart.
This breaking mistrust becomes trust.
All the bugie people who give their word.
Become the victims of their own darkened worlds.
So today we stay away from fat.
No other age or nation seems to feel like that.
Falling for the con man in his baseball hat.
We’re all just scrounging for our piecemeal.
The sun flew around the earth and it was day.
And every sweaty person doomed to feel the same.
We really not much different just our looks.
We’re not flattened by gravity like the hood of a car.
I was always a slave to every glance.
And thought the spirit world had it in for me.
If I didn’t stay up every night and say, if I die before I wake.
I was always a slave to every glance.
And thought the spirit world had it in for me.
If I didn’t stay up every night and say, if I die before I wake.

Adam's Dream

Adam’s Dream
Six little birdies sitting in a tree, sang a song of paradises
Big red apple falling down on me, I picked it up and took a bite.
A bite for the women, a bite for the men,
A bite for a cure, prevents some cancers.
Covered myself then I tried to get some sleep
But I can’t turn off the light, Mercy me
Six Jolly Rogers hanging in my room,
And beneath my bed there hides a monster.
Tell all the children when they can’t fall asleep,
Make the sheep sing you a song,
A song for the sinner's, song for the youth
A song for the Bird man, and Pharoah Sanders
You can’t take it with you so just give it all away
Maybe that can free your soul. Mercy me
Saint Laurent suit in a black limousine.
The world is yours for the taking.
Why does what’s bad for you have to taste so good?
Always got to pay the price.
A price for your ticket,
Price on your soul, A price for the figment, your imagination.
The rich never counted on the poor being so smooth
And getting everything they need. Mercy me

Sits So High

Sits So High
Pack up your ticket and trunk, and I will take you home
I’ll accept the strain, if you accept my loan.
Take me to your place, we’ll exercise our lungs.
Don’t go near the shades, they’re hiding microphones
Take hold of my hand, their crooked lines and all.
Better switch the sails, winds shifting from the fall.
We could dream away forget about the saws.
I’ll forgive the pain, drove into flesh and bone.
And it sits so high in my reverie, and it sits so high in my
memory. And it sits so high, and it sits so high.
Songs will be my prayers, till earth becomes my home.
Fill my very air, with grave mistakes and puns.
Darker are the days I forgot to get along.
Weight down my back becomes a uniform.
When dirt becomes your home, then earth will be your soul.
Your confusing pain, becomes a marathon.
Been looking at the past since the day that I was born.
Read all about the weight, connected by a thorn,
And it sits so high in my revelry,
and it sits so high in my memories,
And it sits so high, and it sits so high.
Don’t stray from your ways, and keep it all inside.
Or it will fall as rain, like blood from Jesus sides.
And don’t blame it on bad taste, the bells and whistles hum.
Reminding you that faith is best brandished like a gun.

That Dark And Bloody River
They came with steel and rifles, filthy rich and dirty poor
To that dark and bloody river, they call the Ohio
Women raised their families all along it’s shores
And many men have fallen at Mingo Bottom, and Dunmore’s War
They came from many nations for property or gold
To that dark and bloody river, they call the Ohio
Oh me, Oh my river runs from Allegheny ends in Cairo Illinois
Ohio means “Good River”, the Seneca did name
A hub of transportation for the Omaha and Osage.
Then the Iriqouis Nation made them move on farther to the West
Then came the French fur traders then the Scots, and Danes, and Brits.
The Wabash turned to crimson, like rust from iron ore
On that dark and bloody river that they call the Ohio
Oh me, oh my through Kentucky, West Virginia, Indiana, Illinois
Shawnee chief Blue Jacket, Three thousand warriors called
Defeat the Shemanese, face St. Clair’s cannonballs.
They scalped all the survivors, put the kids and babes to death
Tied men to a stake and used sharp shells o flay their flesh.
Many raids did follow, you can hear that mighty roar
Of that dark and bloody river they call the Ohio
Oh me, Oh my, River runs from Allegheny ends in Cairo Illinois
The whites they kept a’ coming, taking land by tricks of trade
Also brought diseases Whooping Cough and Pox and Plague
Millions lived before you when you die a dozens born
The circle is unbroken and it turns as it mourns.
They came with steel and rifles, ate beans and greens and corn
On that dark and bloody river they call the Ohio
Oh me, oh my, through Kentucky, West Virginia, Indiana, Illinois

COLUMBINE
Skeletons of the trees they bow, seem to be a’ mourning
Everything is different now, couldn’t see the warnings, didn’t see the
warnings.
Began on April twentieth, the beginning of the spring.
The flower that means eagle does bare that cities name, bares the cities
Name.
Like Koresh and The Davidians, and Timothy Mcvey.
We’ll terrify America, they’ll carve our names in clay, carve our names in
clay.
Harris and Klebold said that they were all alone.
Later everybody blamed Marilyn Manson’s songs, Marilyn Manson’s songs.
Adolescent sanity, “it’s doom alone that counts".
For a year they hocked and planned and trained, didn’t seem to have no
doubt, didn’t seem to have no doubts.
Supplied with guns and propane tanks they made into a bomb.
Were going to blow the cafeteria, but it did not go off, it did not go off.
So they started shooting shotguns they kept hidden in their coats.
Aimed for jocks and bullies but they slaughtered all like goats,
Slaughtered them like goats.
Some they gave mercy to, and some they let go free.
Some they gave them ridicule, as they begged them on their knees,
Begged them on their knees.
The roles they were reversed right then, by taking bullies lives.
Got bored to death of killing them, so they took out their long knives,
Took out their long knives.
Twelve were murdered by their guns, they injured twenty one.
And when at last they had their fun, they counted three, two, one.
Counted three, two, one.
Two last shots were fired in nineteen ninety nine.
A Coordinated suicide, in the town of Columbine, town of Columbine.
Began on April 20th, the beginning of the Spring.
The flower that means “White Dove” bares that cities name, bares that
Cities pain.
